I think is important because it lets us know if someone have died or if there is a conflit. For example if there i a war between countries.another example will be if there is a sickness and how fast is spreading

in my thoughts, the only way we can keep ourselves safe is by knowing what is going on. If World War 3 happens we will never know. Imagine, the news knows that ebola will strike Nicaragua, but we never check the news, we would all perish!!
I think it is important that we keep up with the news around the world because if there is an army coming to destroy were i live, I would probably want to know. If there is a disease that is VERY dangerous, I would probably want to know.
I think it is important for me to keep up with the news so that I can be prepared for anything that comes my way, whether it be a natural disaster, an epidemic, or war. I also think it's important because I can worn others and when "whatever" strikes I won't be surprised, and watch, but actually take action.

Maybe a disease or natural destructions would come to the world and if we dont see the news we wouldnt know when it would come to Nicaragua and we will all die.Maybe something huge is happening in the world and we wouldnt notice because we never see the news.
