Today we talked about the positive and negative aspects of being an explorer and a settler. If you had a choice, which would you be and why?

DeleteI would prefer to be a settler because you get to have a family, possessions, and a home. Also you would be able to have land. You would also know your way around. You wouldn't be a complete stranger either so you would know the normal price for things and the local people would not be able to rip you off. Another reason why I would want to be a settler would be because I would know the language and the customs.

ReplyDeleteI would prefer to be a settler because I can stay with my family and friends unlike explorers, were there always traveling around leaving loved ones behind. Another reason in which I would choose to be a settler is that you can keep many of your belongings, such as beds, big ovens, refrigerators, and other house supplies that explorers can't take. When your an explorers you have no idea where you are, who to trust, and things like that. When your a settler you know who to trust, where to go, and things of that sort.

I would rather be a settler because I could hold a relationship longer with friends and family. I could also have my own stuff and possesions and have a stable job which I could earn money from.
